State Representative Ruwa Romman already represents about 40% of Senate District 7. Democratic and democratic-leaning likely primary voters along with Muslim, young, and AAPI voters need to be reminded of Ruwa's progressive record as a two term State Representative. Voters in Senate District 7 who are not part of House District 97 need to be informed about who Ruwa is, and why she is the best choice for Senate District 7.

The choice is clear in this race. Ruwa is the only candidate in the race:

• endorsed by Gwinnett Legislators, Georgia advocacy organizations, and local, state, and national leaders.

• with experience as a legislator

• who voted in the Public Service Commission general election to lower utility rates

• who has over 12 years of organizing experience training and mobilizing thousands of volunteers to flip Georgia Blue

• who took on the Governor in 2024 and won while preventing a total collapse in turnout in the district

SD7 is lucky to have multiple options in this cycle, but Ruwa is the clear choice with more experience, a consistent record, and wider range of expertise on issues from Voting Rights to fighting to lower utility rates to protecting Georgians from harmful Republican legislation to stopping bad legislation (this year helped stop 90% of bad bills) and passing good legislation (bill to designate EMS an essential service is now on the Governor’s desk).
